When St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland, I think I know where they went...
These signs are prevalent in our parks and museum areas! This one is in front of a playground.
We always must "watch where you step" here, especially in spring when the warmth enlivens the snakes. One county over is the rattlesnake-bite capital of the world, and we have plenty here, too. Of course, they are just living their little snakey lives, so I wish them no harm!
Happy St. Pat's Day! I will wear green today for sure, begorrah!
I would not live where you live, because I am really very, very scared of snakes!
ReplyDeleteHope you are better?
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't think I could live, where one has to be aware of snakes, when walking around. -smile-
But I'm sure, you get used to it.
π✨π✨π✨π✨π✨π
Yikes! Be careful where you step.
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day Holly. Yes, I'm wearing green today. It's the only green sweater I have haha.

ReplyDeleteI forgot totally about wearing green today. Today is my youngest granddaughter's 18th birthday. Of course due to Covid no party is planned.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling Top O' the Mornin"!
ReplyDeleteFunny that snakes are feminine :)
Me no like snakes. Yikes. Please do be careful where you step. Happy St Patty's Day too! Janice
ReplyDeleteYeah, not my favorite. I think I told you of my "issues" with the "critters" of Arizona that I could never live with on a permanent basis. This sign, though, reminds me of a trip we took to Tuscon. The patio door had a sign like this on it and cautioning about leaving the door open. Seriously?? Gah! Happy St. Patrick's Day (or what's left of it!) π☘️π
ReplyDeleteOh dear. No bad snakes in my neck of the woods. Thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteIt is too cold. HA!
We do have rattlers in the bluffs of Wisconsin along the Mighty Mississippi River.
Just the sign scares me! I hate snakes and I live where we have not poison snakes.

Happy belated St. Patrick's Day. Sorry I missed your sign. I've got some catching up to do, I fear. I used to live near OK. where in one town they hunt rattlers down each year and give prizes for the biggest, longest, etc. Yes, unlike most of the other commenters, I have been to this event before. That is, until I learned they don't seek you out and only strike through fear or because they are protecting their young.
